About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located with the Directorate of Emergency Services, Fort Campbell, KY.
What You'll Do
- →Responsible and fully shares in the overall technical and administrative management of the Fire Department at assigned installation Plan, direct, and implement the fire prevention and protection programs for this installation.
- →Read and interpret regulations, technical manuals, and information contained in professional publications relative to fire prevention and protection.
- →Perform supervisory personnel management duties such as planning work, making duty assignments, and assuring needed training is accomplished.
- →Monitor the 911 Emergency Operations Center and the Assistant Chief of training.
- →Review and approve contingency plans to effectively handle Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD), CBRNE, Force Protection, and Hazardous Materials incidents.
