What You'll Do
- →Serves as Supervisory Firefighter responsible for the overall supervision of Fire Protection and Prevention Programs, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Program, and the Hazardous Material Response (HazMat)/WMD Program.
- →Responsible for the implementation of the training, administration, budget, and equipment procurement for Fire Protection and Prevention Programs, Emergency Medical Technician, and Hazardous Material Response (HazMat)/WMD Programs.
- →Serves as technical advisor to management on all matters relating to fire protection and prevention, EMT, and HazMat/WMD issues and projects.
- →Supervises the actual firefighting activities of the installations by implementing procedures, techniques, and methods of operation for rapid and effective response to fire calls.
- →Assists the Fire Chief in maintaining continuing contacts with management and employees to "sell" the Prevention Program.
