About the Role
About the Position: Serve as a Supervisory Firefighter with the Directorate of Emergency Services at Fort Riley, Kansas. This position is included under the provisions of Special Retirement Coverage (SRC) and may have both a maximum entry age and a mandatory retirement date. What You'll Do
- →Serve as Assistant Chief of Operations.
- →Provide highly responsible and complex executive level support to the Fire Chief.
- →Serve as the incident commander until relieved by the Fire Chief or Deputy Fire Chief.
- →Plan and administer comprehensive firefighting and rescue programs.
