You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FACILITIES OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in the FACILITIES MANAGEMENT DIVISION of NAS JRB FT WORTH.
What You'll Do
- →You will direct, control and coordinate all management functions of the Division.
- →You will be responsible for providing all management, supervision, labor, engineering, service, tools, materials equipment, supplies, facilities, and transportation necessary to operate and maintain facilities, equipment and systems.
- →You will be responsible for providing professional and efficient administrative support services to the Public Works Dept, Public Works Officer, Deputy Public Works Officer, Facilities Management Division.
- →You will administer service contracts and manage special projects by developing cost estimates.
- →You will evaluate possible approaches and solutions to unusual maintenance and repair problems using technical judgment, experience, and exploration of available resources.
- →You will conduct long and short-range resource requirement forecasts by analyzing the facility program goals and objectives.
- →You will assign work to junior employees based on priorities, difficulty of work, and employee capability to complete facilities assignments.
- →You will coordinate execution of facilities projects with staff (e.g., public works, contractors).
- →You will advise contracting offices or contractors on the interpretation and application of contractual requirements or organizational policy and regulations.
