About the Role
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the ENGINEERING AND PLANNING DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will review work products submitted by subordinates for achievement of assignment objectives and adherence to controlling policies.
- →You will determine and make provisions for the training needs of subordinates.
- →You will ensure that testing prerequisites that affect ship's condition are identified and authorized for accomplishment on the Ship's Plan of the Day (SPOD).
- →You will act as a authoritative source for the senior Shipyard management for major decisions regarding overhaul direction.
- →You will effectively and efficiently plan, monitor, manage, and evaluate the Test Program.
