You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the Test Engineering Division (Code 246),Office of the Chief Engineer (Code 240), Engineering and Planning Department (Code 200) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will manage and execute the non-nuclear test and work control program during NNSY Ship availabilities.
- →You will direct and/or coordinate multiple trade and shipyard codes to ensure that all ship and support systems and capable of meeting the technical requirements.
- →You will identify all non-nuclear work and testing technically required to be completed for key events.
- →You will direct the mapping of CU Phases, work authorization forms, re-entry control documents, inspection/deficiency reports, test procedures, etc.
- →You will monitor shipboard testing in progress and take action to assure that testing is conducted in accordance with approved technical and safety requirements.
