You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the WORK CONTROL AND TEST ENGINEERING DIVISION (CODE 246) of the ENGINEERING AND PLANNING DEPARTMENT of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
What You'll Do
- →You will formulate an integrated test or work control schedule.
- →You will plan a total Work Control or Test Program for ship assigned utilizing the Ship’s Availability Work Package and schedules.
- →You will prepare detailed test procedures based on NAVSEA derived specifications.
- →You will assist the Chief Test Engineer in planning for sea trials and act as the Assistant Shipyard Test Director during such trials.
- →You will direct the work activities of a group of personnel which varies in number due to the length of the assigned ship’s availability.
- →You will assign work based on difficulty and capabilities of employees and evaluate their work and performance
