The National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering is hiring a Supervisory Electronics Engineer. This position is located in the Trans-NIH Instrumentation Development and Engineering Application Solutions (IDEAS) Shared Resource, Intramural Research Program (IRP), National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB).
What You'll Do
- →Serves as senior engineer/investigator in the research, design, and development of new signal transduction, data acquisition, real-time signal and image processing, robotic control, and analysis systems to enable the solution of research problems that frequently result in significant advances in the biomedical science field.
- →Serves as the focal point for consultation and collaboration on the application of biomedical instrumentation, signal processing, and related technologies to the clinical and biomedical research field.
- →Manages a major scientific program that provides highly specialized engineering resources and expertise to the research community.
- →Formulates, defines, and implements long and short-range goals, objectives, requirements, plans, and priorities for the program, ensuring consistency with those of the Division and Center.
