This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.
What You'll Do
- →SUPERVISORY CONTROLS. -The incumbent works under the general supervision of the Supervisory Dietitian, Chief, Nutrition and Food Services, who establishes objectives and department priorities. -The incumbent is expected to complete work assignments with relative independence and minimal guidance, personally setting the deadlines for completion of work.
- →Assumes responsibility in work assignments in accordance with regulations and independently resolves most conflicts by using considerable judgment and interpretation. -Work is reviewed to ensure that overall objectives of the position are met.
- →Work Schedule: Monday-Frday, 8:00am - 4:30pm EDRP Authorized: Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply for incentive.
