What You'll Do
- →This position is in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Inspector General (OIG), Office of Management (OM), Budget Division.
- →Typical assignments include: Reviewing, analyzing, consolidating and revising budget estimates, justification statements and budget execution plans submitted by headquarters offices and field offices, and preparing official monthly, quarterly, and annual execution reports.
- →Providing expert advice on all phases of appropriated budgeting and/or alternative programs (supplemental funds) plans to all levels of management.
- →Analyzing current and proposed financial and economic issues facing the organization and their impact on the DHS OIG budget program.
- →Developing policy and procedural guidance, as required.
- →Plans, directs, coordinates, leads, counsels, and evaluates subordinate staff.
- →Collaborate with agency officials to determine the budget allotments, execution plans and status, and resource allocation to support program in conjunction with priorities established senior management.
