About the Role
This position is located in the Department of War Office of Inspector General (DoW OIG). The incumbent of this position will work within the Office of the Deputy Inspector General for Investigations (DIG INV), Defense Criminal Investigative Service (DCIS), and serve as the Special Agent in Charge of the Mid-Atlantic Field Office.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as the Special Agent in Charge (SAC) for the Mid-Atlantic Field Office.
- →Establishes priorities and ensures that timely performance of a satisfactory quantity and quality of work and makes decisions on work problems presented by subordinate supervisors.
- →Provides professional advice, consultation, guidance, and recommends appropriate actions in all matters pertaining to personnel, administration and policy, and criminal investigations.
- →Advises on managerial actions of employees.
- →Responsible in dealing with senior officials with senior officials of various international, federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, Defense Criminal Investigative Organizations, industry representatives, and professional societies.
- →Analyzes requests for investigations and determines which cases should be initiated, prioritized, or closed consistent with agency investigative priorities, resource assessment, or other pertinent information.
