This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. You will serve as the supervisor for the Requirements Office within U.S. Fleet Cyber Command.
What You'll Do
- →You will provide expert technical procurement support and package development for submission to external Awarding Offices You will lead a multi-disciplinary team in the technical and administrative oversight of procurement requirements for highly specialized intelligence-related supplies, services, and research and development.
- →You will act as a primary advisor to program officials on procurement objectives and acquisition strategies, analyzing and integrating complex contractual data to develop comprehensive requirements packages for submission.
- →You will apply expert judgment to interpret existing policies and develop innovative analytical methodologies for non-routine contracting problems.
- →You will maintain high-level liaison with professionals across the intelligence community and external contracting offices to resolve disagreements and align procurement actions with mission priorities.
- →You will make technical decisions and commitments based on regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
- ✓Applicants must meet the following Basic Education Requirement of the Department of Defense Qualification Standard for Contracting Positions: A bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees.
- ✓NOTE: The education requirement listed above applies only to individuals entering DoD GS-1102 positions on or after October 1, 2000.
- ✓Current civilian personnel in DoD who occupied GS-1102 positions or contracting positions with authority to award or administer contracts above the simplified acquisition threshold in an Executive Department on or before September 30, 2000 are exempt from meeting this requirement.
- ✓Current military members who occupied a similar occupational specialty to the GS (or equivalent) 1102 or before September 30, 2000 are also exempt from meeting this requirement.
