About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at William Beaumont Army Medical Center's Mental Health Services in El Paso, Texas. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Provide professional consultation, advice, and guidance to military and community leaders, social workers, psychiatrists, other physicians, nurses, other hospital personnel, court representatives and educators.
- →Provide individual, couple, family and/or group psychological counseling utilizing a variety of treatment modalities to adult patients.
- →Oversee, administer and interpret psychological testing to include maintaining and securing test instruments and raw testing data.
- →Teaches classes, such as Suicide Prevention, Stress Management, Mental Status Evaluation, and Deployment Briefings.
- →Supervise military personnel, federal civilian employees, and contractor performance assigned to the Behavioral Health clinic.
- →Provide technical and administrative guidance to manage workloads and ensure timeliness and accuracy of subordinate work.
