What You'll Do
- →As a Supervisory Budget Officer, you will perform the following duties: Oversee the management, formulation, executing and tracking of the Aircraft Operations Center (AOC) budget and financial operations.
- →Manage the access to use of financial and accounting systems and serve as an advisor to management.
- →Develop, recommend and review financial policies and procedures to implement process improvements.
- →Develop, validate, certify and update budget cost tables, annual spend plans and labor projections to manage the accounts payable process.
- →Ensure transactions are in accordance with audit requirements and financial controls.
- →Oversee and manage acquisition planning and procurement business processes.
- →Manage purchase card usage in relation to fund management, cost estimates and planning of commitments and obligations and activity based on cost analysis.
- →Provide the full range of supervision and direction to a subordinate staff by planning and assigning work to be accomplished based on difficulty of work and capabilities of employees.
- →Evaluate work performance and provide counseling and instructions on administrative matters.
- →Interview candidates for positions and recommend and initiate Human Resources (HR) actions (e.g., promotions, awards, training, disciplinary, etc.).

Requirements
- ✓This position will be filled under the DOC Alternative Personnel System (CAPS).
- ✓Under CAPS, positions are classified by career, pay plan, and pay band.
- ✓The ZA-4 is equivalent to the GS-13/14.
