Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, Del Rio Sector, Sector Intelligence Unit, located in: Brackettville, TX Del Rio, TX Additional selections may be made beyond the total number of vacancies specified using this vacancy announcement. What You'll Do
- →This position will allow you to use your expertise to prevent illegal entry of aliens into the United States by land, water, or air; enforce criminal provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Laws; and seek out and apprehend smugglers or aliens who are in the United States illegally.

- →This position starts at a salary of $109,383.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $142,199.00 (GS-13, Step 10).
- →As a first-line Supervisory Border Patrol Agent (Intelligence), you will serve as a secondary law enforcement officer (under 5 U.S.C. 8336 (c) and 8412 (d)) and be responsible for: Supervising agents that perform arrests and surveillance of investigated subjects.
- →Overseeing all aspects of shift operations and managing, directing and coordinating assignments consistent with the mission and objectives.
- →Developing all-source collection strategies to collect against intelligence gaps, initiating outreach to stakeholders, developing intelligence community partnerships to improve collection methods.
- →Providing briefings to agency components and other law enforcement entities on topics including but not limited to threat activities, transnational criminal organization intelligence, and proactive case deconfliction.
