What You'll Do
- →Manages all DISA OIG audit operations, functions and personnel; internal and external audit follow-up activities; and the Corrective Action Report (CAR) process to promote effectiveness in DISA programs and operations.
- →Formulates, interprets and provides oversight of DISA OIG’s audit and liaison program policy and processes.
- →Designs, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of internal audit quality management programs to assist the OIG in achieving and maintaining acceptable levels of quality for meeting Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS).
- →Provides expert advice to DISA OIG, internal leaders, and external officials on matters of audit engagement and follow-up, IT programs and structures, communication, contracting, and finance.
- →Participates in OIG strategic and audit planning; continually reviews, evaluates, and adjusts Audit Division goals and objectives; and formulates annual and multi-year work plans and schedules for the Audit Division and contracted audit work.
