About the Role
The primary purpose of this position is to provide acquisition legal advice to all acquisition activities located at Wright-Patterson AFB.
What You'll Do
- →Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time.
- →Represents AFMC Law Office with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
- →Chief Legal counsel for designated acquisition programs.
- →Examines legal issues raised by requests for formal opinions.
- →Maintains current knowledge of changing statutory and regulatory guidance relating to acquisition and sustainment, as well as general developments in technology that may imporve the effective delivery of legal services.
- →Incumbent is responsible for the timely completion of administrative duties assigned by the AFMCLO leadership.
Requirements
- ✓Must be a graduate of a law school accredited by the American Bar Association, and be currently licensed as an attorney, in active (or equivalent) status and in good standing, with the bar of a U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth.
- ✓The attorney must maintain such bar membership in at least one jurisdiction during the entire course of employment with the Air Force.
