What You'll Do
- →This position is located in the Construction and Environmental Review Section, Facilities Management Branch (FMB), Administration Division, Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP).
- →Supervises a project management team assigned the primary responsibility for the development of a number of new correctional institutions and/or detention centers.
- →Responsible for managing the planning, organizing, coordinating and execution of the many complex tasks which the planning, design and construction of these facilities.
- →Oversees the development of the project management planning and technical guidelines for each project.
- →Supervises the identification and organization of the activities and the staff required to implement the delivery of the assigned projects.
- →Oversee the development and monitoring of master and detailed budgets for construction, design services, construction management services, and staffing and overall project budgets.
- →Supervises the review of architectural and engineering documents developed for the projects and gives final approval to the construction documents issued for each project.
