The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the Engineering Branch, Aviation Safety Division, Air Force Safety Center.
What You'll Do
- →Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Engineering Branch of the Aviation Safety Division, ensuring the branch complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
- →Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- →Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.
- →Represents the Air Force Safety Center with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
- →Serves as Chief Engineer, Air Force Safety Center.
- →Orchestrate and/or lead technical assessments of hazards & risks for systems & operations of interest to the Chief of Safety and other AF/DoD leadership.
