About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at the Point Loma Complex, San Diego. - Alcohol and Drug Counselor Certification Level II (reciprocal level with International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium (IC and RC)) is required upon first 6 months of employment.
What You'll Do
- →Manage psycho educational patient workshops ensuring relevant training is provided and that workshops meet the highest standard of care.
- →Provide individual and group therapy sessions to support clients in their recovery efforts.
- →Assist in crisis situations and providing support during difficult times.
- →Develop patient treatment plans and documents all patient clinical encounters in electronic medical record.
- →Collaborate closely with medical staff, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
