What You'll Do
- →Serve as a strategic planning and exercise specialist, participating in internal agency planning to provide a trained and ready reserve force, while also evaluating and advising on the impact of major DoD policy changes.
- →Oversee Joint Reserve Force policy and governance, develop and update internal communications consistent with leadership guidance to support the agency's global logistics mission.
- →Provide analysis of proposed policies on agency relationships and develop new concepts and business processes to address complex joint reserve military support requirements, including performance indicators and OPLAN supportability.
- →Develop, coordinate, and support the execution of selected Defense Logistics Agency Joint Training Plan (JTP) exercises, working across DLA commands to implement the plan and integrate military reserve experts.
- →Act as a military reserve advisor for the Defense Logistics Agency Joint Training Plan (JTP), independently researching and providing expert evaluations to develop and execute training events that assess warfighting mission readiness.
- →Direct, evaluate, and create a wide range of written correspondence, including speeches, white papers, and reports, for the DLA J9 Director and other agency leaders for presentation to senior DoD leadership.
- →Research and analyze joint reserve military performance metrics and business strategies to inform the wartime posture requirements of the Joint Reserve Force, ensuring the DLA J9 Director's intent is captured in DLA plans.
