Store Support Assistant is located within a Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) commissary. This is a dual-purpose position; performing administrative duties approximately 60% of the time, and performs the duties of a Store Associate approximately 40% of the time. The incumbent works independently or as part of a team and may be rotated throughout the store, performing duties in assigned departments as needed.
What You'll Do
- →Administrative support: prepare correspondence, maintain files, answer phones, handle payroll and DTS tasks.
- →Personnel processing: assist with RPAs, in-process new hires, coordinate with HR.
- →Workers' compensation and benefits support: review forms, maintain COP logs, provide basic benefits info.
- →Supply and property management: track equipment, place supply orders, support inventories, prepare reports.
- →Store operations: cashiering, stocking, merchandising, inventory control, curbside pickup.
- →Customer service and contractor monitoring.
- →Support store safety, sanitation, and security procedures.
- →Read the entire announcement before starting the application process.

- ✓When relying on foreign education, submit transcripts and a copy of the equivalency evaluation results letter with a course-by-course listing.
