Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, El Paso Sector, Mission Readiness Operations. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.
What You'll Do
- →This position uses your knowledge and experience to provide a full range of services for top level managers.
- →This position starts at a salary of $74,678.00 (GS-11, Step 1) to $97,087.00 (GS-11, Step 10) .
- →The Staff Assistant provides a full range of administrative, research and analytical duties, liaison activities and special assignments; duties and responsibilities include: Developing, devising, and analyzing internal administrative procedures of the office through independent reviews, coordination with internal and external components, preparation of reports, and research and analysis.
- →Monitoring all office administrative functions and transactions and preparing a variety of reports utilizing various databases and automated systems.
- →Arranging for the preparation of briefing materials, talking points and executive summaries to be viewed by the manager.
- →Working closely with members of the manager's staff, and with others outside the office, to track projects and to ensure implementation dates are met.

Requirements
