About the Role

This position is located at Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration, Office of Investigation. As Staff Assistant (Administrative Management Specialist), you will be responsible for performing a variety of analytical, technical, advisory, and administrative duties and functions related to the management of the Office.

What You'll Do

  • If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
  • Serve as a functional liaison to advocate the interest and negotiate on behalf of management with officials in human resources, facilities, budget, case management and security functions pertaining to the division.
  • Act as the point of contact for all administrative and personnel issues.
  • Perform a wide range of budgetary and administrative duties to assist the SAC or Director with formulation, analysis, execution and review of the division budget.
  • Act as inventory coordinator to ensure procedural requirements are met regarding government vehicles and government property assigned to divisional personnel.
  • Responsible for processing Freedom of Information Act requests for the division.
  • Responsible for maintaining accuracy of the divisions Outlook distribution lists, SharePoint site permissions, travel system routing, and HR Connect personnel alignment.
