About the Position: This position is located within the Speech Pathology Services at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Fort Campbell, Tennessee. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Establishes and implements activities to identify children in the local area of responsibility who may require Early Intervention Services.
- →Conducts family intake interviews and developmental and speech/language evaluations to determine eligibility for Early Intervention Services (EIS) of the Educational and Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS) program.
- →Uses the Routines-Based Interview (RBI) to assess family strengths, needs, and priorities and to identify needed supports and services for the eligible child.
- →Prepares and maintains Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) documentation, including visit notes, service coordination records, and speech-language service plans, across electronic and paper systems.
- →Provides consultation and technical assistance to other early intervention team members, providers, and agencies.
