Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations, El Paso Field Office, Port of El Paso, located in El Paso, Texas. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.
What You'll Do
- →This position will allow you to utilize your expertise in various administrative skills to provide project-related, advisory and technical services to CBP management.
- →Apply for this exciting opportunity to strengthen the Department's ability to perform homeland security functions by developing, analyzing and advising internal administrative policies, procedures, and management processes of the office.
- →This position starts at a salary of $74,678.00 (GS-11, Step 1) to $116,362.00 (GS-12, Step 10) with promotion potential to $116,362.00 (GS-12, Step 10).
- →Advising management on administrative requirements, policies, and procedures, and participating in long-range planning and labor-management discussions.
- →Reviewing and coordinating executive correspondence, ensuring responses align with organizational policies, and guiding staff in preparing timely and accurate communications.
- →Collaborating with senior leadership in developing and coordinating long-range management plans to optimize resource allocation and address future organizational needs.
- →Conducting studies and analyses of administrative programs, identifying opportunities for process improvements, and implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- →Supporting senior executives by driving strategic leadership initiatives and organizational change efforts that impact program offices throughout the agency.

Requirements
