This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO), Front Office. As a Special Assistant, GS-0301-13, you will serve as Special Assistant to the CCIIO Deputy Director for Policy, providing recommendations and conducting special assignments on key issues affecting the operations and programs of CCIIO.
What You'll Do
- →Participate with management and CCIIO senior staff in the review and evaluation of high priority programs, projects, and policy initiatives.
- →Monitor complex, cross-cutting projects to ensure goals, objectives, milestones, and deadlines are clearly defined, communicated, and achieved.
- →Conduct impact assessments to identify operational implications, unintended consequences, and areas requiring mitigation strategies or implementation planning.
- →Maintain liaison with stakeholders to obtain pertinent information and coordinate timely responses to requests for information and comments.
