About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. What You'll Do
- →Serve as an Information Technology (IT) Specialist providing support in the specialty of programming and problem resolution.
- →Provide support to applications consisting of numerous software programs, utilities, and tools, and which exist in a web-based application computing environment.
- →Develop software programs, consisting of moderately complex decision making, assures optimum equipment utilization, achieves functional goals, and enhances program maintenance.
- →Perform formalized application analysis and assessments in customer organizations, to provide increased effectiveness of the customer in performing their mission.
- →Analyze and evaluate workplace automation requirements in a multi-level server and communications environment for diverse customers throughout the command Maintain or assist in the maintenance of existing software systems both locally developed applications and common off-the-shelf software.
