About the Role
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application.
What You'll Do
- →The incumbent works at the Worcester Community Based Outpatient Clinic.
- →This vacancy will be filled through multidisciplinary postings for Psychologist and Social Workers.
- →To apply for the Psychologist posting, please apply through this announcement: CBTD-12988268-26-NS Duties for this position include but not limited to: Maintain broad management responsibilities for the Outpatient Mental Health Clinics located at Worcester and Fitchburg CBOCs.
- →Provides outpatient psychotherapy services at assigned CBOC's, using the most appropriate psychotherapeutic techniques and providing quality care.
- →Carries a caseload of outpatients at any given time.
- →Consults with and serves as a resource for other professional personnel concerning the need for development of psychological services.
- →Provides clinical coverage as needed to any outpatient mental health program, prioritizing the need in Worcester and Fitchburg first.
- →Provides supervisory support to the pre-doctoral psychology internship program and the postdoctoral psychology fellowship, both located at this site.

Requirements
