About the Role
About the Position: Serve as a Social Worker (Mental Health Consultant) United States Army Health Clinic, located at Camp Casey or Camp Walker, Republic of Korea. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Provide targeted assessment/evaluation of functional status focused in the context of the presenting problem.
- →Assist with implementation and monitoring of treatment plans with Primary Care Managers (PCMs) and other primary care team members.
- →Apply biopsychosocial evaluations to propose mental health interventions.
- →Provide evidence-based treatment, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches.
- →Provide primary care providers and staff regular and concise feedback on the status of referred patients, to include recommendations for team-based care.
- →Implement psychoeducational classes to target high frequency diagnoses found in the primary care clinic.
- →Document information in the electronic health record during patient encounters.
- →Provide concise documentation of care and recommendations in patient’s medical record beginning in the appointment and completed in no more than 72 hours after the patient is seen.
- →This position is designated as having regular and recurring contact with children under the age of 18 and is subject to requirements of DoDI 1402.05.
