What You'll Do
- →You will provide direct services for the Family Advocacy Program (FAP) including conducting clinical case assessment (e.g., safety/lethality).
- →You will provide clinical treatment/intervention for individuals, couples, children, families, and groups on family maltreatment.
- →You will serve as a community liaison to ensure an effective coordinated community response to allegations of child abuse/neglect and domestic abuse including situations with high-risk for bodily harm or lethal violence within the family.
- →You will conduct clinical interviews to assess individuals and identify the development of behavior patterns, mechanisms, and symptoms.
- →You will provide strategic clinical consultation to installation leadership, medical professionals, and multi-disciplinary teams to guide clinical needs assessments and coordinate systemic military community responses.
- →You will oversee comprehensive clinical needs assessments to design, execute, and monitor highly specialized treatment plans for both victims and offenders of family maltreatment.
Requirements
- ✓Basic education requirements for the GS-0185, Professional Social Work Series:Have successfully completed a degree in social work that fulfills all of the requirements for the master's degree in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
- ✓OR Have successfully completed a master's degree in social work with practicum.
