This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range & Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Carries out program management responsibility for the installation Family Advocacy Program (FAP), ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and meeting customer needs.
- →Identifies program resource requirements and develops/manages the Family Advocacy Program (FAP) budget.
- →Establishes Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs) with local civilian agencies and Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs).
- →Establishes local policies and metrics to assess the quality, timeliness, and efficiency of FAP services.
- →Advisor to the Garrison and Installation Commander on family abuse and domestic violence issues.
- →Provides mandatory training for Unit/Battalion Commanders and NCOs on identifying potential issues within statutory limits.
- →Designs and implements post-wide prevention and education campaigns to reduce family violence.
- →Publicizes reporting procedures and resource availability to the military community.
- →Directly supervises a professional staff, assigning work, setting performance standards, counseling employees, and writing performance appraisals.
