About the Role
About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency located within the Directorate of Mental Health Social Services at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon in Augusta, GA. As a Social Worker (Clinical) serves as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive range of complex clinical social work services and mental health care services, including status exams and care for wounded, ill, and injured members. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Provide individual and group clinical counseling to assist adults with personal, psychological, and interactive problems.
- →Develop individualized treatment plans based on psychiatric diagnosis and identified patient problems.
- →Provide case management services to effectively manage patients and improve their individual, family, and occupational functioning.
- →Perform a variety of quality and risk management duties to meet The Joint Commission and Department of Health Agency requirements.
- →Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to synchronize care and coordinate with other agencies to support patients.
