About the Role
THIS IS AN INDIANA NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION This position is in the Excepted Service under the authority of Title V, P.L. 114-328, Sections 932 and 1084 (FY17 NDAA) This position is part of the IN JFHQ IN J1, Indiana National Guard under Position Description Number PD#T5012000. What You'll Do
- →Supports the psychological health team in developing and executing an annual BH program strategy.
- →Develops relationships with military and community groups to enhance prevention efforts and expand available BH resources.
- →Coordinates and implements prevention and education programs.
- →Conducts clinical screening, evaluation, and consultation services.
- →Builds efficient processes to manage BH referrals and case management services.
- →Conducts population-based behavioral health surveillance to examine trends and further develop targeted prevention and mitigation strategies.
- →Provides consultation, education, and training to military and non¬-military health care professionals concerning behavioral health policy, psychological fitness, and primary and secondary prevention programs.
- →Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- ✓To receive credit for Education, you must provide transcripts or documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
- ✓Master's Degree: Social Work.
- ✓(Must fulfill all of the requirements for the master's degree in social work in a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.)
