About the Role
About the Position: You will serve as a U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) Social Services Assistant collaborating with licensed clinical social workers recommending treatment plans. Interviewing clients to provide information about the Family Advocacy Program (FAP) and the incident determination process, reporting all suspected child abuse, neglect, and sexual abuse allegations to Child Protective Services and appropriate military and/or civilian law enforcement agencies.
What You'll Do
- →Interview clients to provide information about the Family Advocacy Program (FAP) and the incident determination process.
- →Collaborate with a licensed clinical social worker in recommending treatment plans.
- →Complete a safety assessment and assist in developing a safety plan for the identified adult victim of domestic abuse based on accumulation of information obtained from multiple sources.
- →Maintain close coordination with Service Member's unit and monitor treatment participation and progress with designated treatment providers.
- →Report all suspected child abuse, neglect, and sexual abuse allegations to Child Protective Services (CPS).
- →Report individual treatment compliance and progress when case reviews are scheduled and maintain appropriate case records.
