You will serve as a SHIPBUILDING SPECIALIST in the LHA Branch (Code 323.1), CVN/AMPHIB Division (Code 330), Waterfront Operations Department (Code 300) of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR.
What You'll Do
- →You will utilize various contractor/government systems and procedures for cost estimating, labor and planning.
- →You will review and evaluate contractor's proposals and conditions reports and recommendations for additional work.
- →You will accomplish ship inspections.
- →You will evaluate dry-dock or waterborne for competitive bidding area consideration.
- →You will perform ship check of contractor prepared work specifications.
- →You will provide shop and on ship oversight monitoring of contracted work.
