You will serve as a Shipbuilding Specialist in the Waterfront Operations Department (WFO) Small Craft and IDIQ Division of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR.
What You'll Do
- →You will resolve matters pertaining to the manufacturing and repair processes of ships.
- →You will provide detailed cost estimates for new work projects and modifications to original work specifications.
- →You will utilize a comprehensive knowledge of shipbuilding methods, practices, techniques and management control systems for overhauling, repairing and testing surface ships and small crafts.
- →You will review blueprints and specifications for comprehension and dissemination.
- →You will maintain material control and investigate availability of material and time for contracted projects.
