About the Role
You will serve as a SEXUAL ASSUALT PREVENTION AND RESPONSE VICTIM ADVOCATE in the Family Readiness department of NAS PATUXENT RIVER.
What You'll Do
- →You will guide employees on issues related to a sexual assault prevention and response program.
- →You will serve as point of contact for senior management, faculty, or staff regarding sexual assault response programs.
- →You will complete risk assessments and documentation for case review.
- →You will develop reports, information papers, talking points, briefing packages, or other Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) program information for senior leaders.
- →You will provide victim advocacy services and crisis intervention support for adult victims of sexual assault.
- →You will perform complex assessments using trauma-informed approaches for reports of sexual assault.
- →You will implement risk screening protocols and provide assistance to victims in securing treatment requested by the victims.
Requirements
- ✓OR Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
- ✓OR Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
- ✓OR A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
