What You'll Do
- →You will provide non-clinical, trauma-informed crisis intervention, safety planning, and risk screening for adult victims of sexual assault while maintaining strict confidentiality and safeguarding sensitive CUI and PII.
- →You will guide victims through Restricted and Unrestricted reporting options, assist with DD Form 2910 documentation, and prepare the Commander Recommendation package within 24 hours of Unrestricted reports.
- →You will coordinate warm hand-offs and tailored referrals to military and civilian medical, mental health, and legal resources (including SVC/VLC) utilizing a "No Wrong Door" approach.
- →You will manage case files, develop detailed case management plans, and collaborate with Case Management Groups and High-Risk Response Teams to mitigate risks and support victim self-determination.
- →You will assist the SARC with community outreach, SAPR training logistics, stakeholder coordination, and local public awareness campaigns, including Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month events.
Requirements
- ✓Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
- ✓OR Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
- ✓OR Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
- ✓OR A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
- ✓GS-09 Successful completion of a a master's or equivalent graduate degree in a related discipline appropriate to the position OR Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a master's degree.
- ✓OR A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
