Joining the Secret Service, Office of Technical Development and Applied Research, Technical Security Division will allow you to serve as the lead on all acquisition matters, including, but not limited to drafting proposals, developing business cases, providing analysis, evaluation, approving or redirecting of strategy, plans, and techniques. What You'll Do
- →The selectee will serve as a(n) Senior Business Acquisition Analyst in the Office of Technical Development and Applied Research, Technical Security Division.
- →Typical work assignments include: Performs or oversees contract management functions such as monitoring and ensuring compliance on all TEC assigned contracts.
- →Activities include, but are not limited to, performance measurement, cost monitoring, assessing and developing strategies to solve complex contract issues.
- →Serves as primary interface with the Procurement Division during all phases of the acquisition process.
- →Serves as an expert analyst and advisor on acquisition management and implementation; serves as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) in managing awarded contracts and collaborates internal and external stakeholders on contract management.
- →This Senior Business Acquisition Analyst position starts at a salary of $143,913.00, GS-14, step 1 with potential to $187,093.00, GS-14 step 10.
Requirements
- ✓Citizenship is required.

- ✓Submit to random drug testing while you occupy the position.
- ✓This position requires the employee to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- ✓This position requires Federal Acquisition Certification for Contracting Officer's Representatives (FAC-COR) Level 2 Certification upon initial appointment.
- ✓The incumbent must be able to obtain FAC-COR Level 3 Certification within 24 months from assignment to the position.
- ✓As a condition of employment for accepting this position, you may be required to serve a 1-year probationary period or 2-year trial period during which we will evaluate your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest.
- ✓In determining if your employment advances the public interest, we may consider: your performance and conduct; the needs and interests of the agency; whether your continued employment would advance organizational goals of the agency or the Government; and whether your continued employment would advance the efficiency of the Federal service.
- ✓Upon completion of your probationary period or trial period your employment will be terminated unless you receive certification, in writing, that your continued employment advances the public interest.

- ✓For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
