What You'll Do
- →As the Senior Advisor for Modernization and Technology Protection for the U.S.
- →Army Transformation and Training Command, the incumbent serves as the principal subject matter expert for both the T2COM G-2 and matrixed with Future Concepts Command (FCC), responsible for integrating threat analysis, security, and counter-intelligence efforts as they relate to materiel requirements and technology protection activities across T2COM, FCC, and down to subordinate FCC organizations.
- →This includes ensuring that the best intelligence on adversary capabilities is integrated directly into the materiel requirements mission and that all critical materiel requirements and scientific research and development efforts within the FCC footprint are protected in terms of security and counterintelligence.
- →The incumbent will also provide senior executive level advice and input into the broad acquisition-intelligence (ACQINT) mission set at FCC, T2COM, and Army levels, serving as a key integrator with Department of the Army-level ACQINT and technology protection efforts.
Requirements
- ✓CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT You must be a U.S. citizen to qualify for this position.
- ✓Designated and/or Random Drug Testing required.
- ✓You must be able to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- ✓Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- ✓You will be required to provide proof of U.S.
- ✓Citizenship. 1-year DISL probation unless previously served. 2-year probation for DCIPS requirement unless previously served.
- ✓Both probations can be served simultaneously.
- ✓Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a background investigation.
- ✓Direct deposit of pay is required.
- ✓This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- ✓The incumbent is required to travel on both scheduled and unscheduled aircraft, and other modes as required, under conditions specified under the DoD Joint Travel Regulations.
- ✓Designated and/or Random Drug Testing required Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability or fitness determination.
- ✓Re-Employment of Annuitants: In accordance with section 9902(h) of title 5, United States Code, annuitants reemployed in the Department of Defense shall receive full annuity and salary upon appointment.
- ✓They shall not be eligible for retirement contributions, participation in the Thrift Savings Plan, or a supplemental or redetermined annuity for the reemployment period.
