Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Facilities and Asset Management (OFAM), Asset and Administrative Management Division, Personal and Seized Property Management Office, position located in Indianapolis, IN.
What You'll Do
- →This includes overseeing the use, maintenance, protection, transfer, and disposition of assets; establishing unified policies, business processes, standards; and automating solutions for Personal Property asset programs.
- →The PSPPMO also provides training, program controls, data analysis, and reporting.
- →These responsibilities facilitate timely availability of equipment critical to operations, personnel and public safety, compliance with Federal regulations and policies, and accounting and financial health.
- →Serving as Contracting Officer's Representative for contracts supporting the management of seized, forfeited or abandoned property, such as the Seized Vehicle Consignment Contract and the General Order Merchandise Contract.
- →Developing a Quality Assurance plan that identifies what needs to be monitored and evaluated to ensure quality standards are met, as well as reviewing and reconciling contract obligations, expenditures, and funding limitations.
- →Interpreting and analyzing various program data to prepare various reports, presentations, and correspondence for senior management (e.g., analyzing data pertaining to the sale of seized vehicles or general order merchandise).
- →Using the system of record for seized property to document various information concerning the management of seized, forfeited, and abandoned property, such as seized vehicles and general order merchandise.

Requirements
