This position is located in Washington Headquarters Service (WHS), Security Enterprise Services Directorate (SESD), in the Integrated Security Operations Division (ISOD) and will serve as a Security Specialist responsible for providing WHS security support. The SESD provides security support to senior managers in the OSD, WHS, The Director of Administration and Management and to DoD, Congressional, and Presidential established boards, commissions, and task forces.

- →This is a Direct Hire Public Notice for the DoD Direct-Hire Authority for Pathways Recent Graduates.
- →Condition of Employment: Top-Secret security clearance with SCI and SAP components.
- →Recent Graduates conferred transcripts must confirm a degree was obtained no more than two years prior to the date of your appointment or anticipated completion date of NLT June 30, 2026.

- →This position is being filled under Direct Hire Authority (DHA) in accordance with Section 1116 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024 (Public Law 118-31 ), "Extension of Direct Hire Authority for the Department of Defense for Post-Secondary Students and Recent Graduates" Please read this Public Notice in its entirety prior to submitting your application for consideration.
- →Your work assignments may include the following: Serves as a security specialist responsible for a wide range of duties focused on protecting sensitive information, facilities, and personnel from security threats.
- →Acts as a liaison for security issues and ensure compliance with federal and agency regulations.
- →Provides guidance and training to supported personnel, including DA&M, WHS, and Board and Commissions employees.
