About the Position: Serves as the technical authority for Insider Threat (InT) operations at US Africa Command (AFRICOM). Develops and implements Command-wide policy to achieve the goals and objectives set forth by National Insider Threat policy and statute.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as the primary point of contact and senior advisor on InT policy, doctrine, training, evaluation, and program implementation within USAFRICOM and with external organizations.
- →Participates in and represents the lnT Hub as directed and necessary at various National, DoD, and COCOM forums and working groups.
- →Incumbent conducts and manages insider threat risk assessments and referrals for the AFRICOM lnT Hub.
- →Advises the AFRICOM lnT Hub and lnT leadership and others as needed on status, trends, and response/mitigation activities.
- →Develops/manages information reporting that meet threshold requirements to the DoD Insider Threat Management and Analysis Center (DITMAC) and conducts other coordination with the DITMAC as necessary.
- →Engages with command financial team to ensure adequate budget and obligation of funding and represents the financial and contract requirements within command processes and boards.
