Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Operations Support, CBP Watch, Communications Center Division, located in Orlando, Florida. Additional selections may be made for other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.
What You'll Do
- →The National Law Enforcement Communications Center (NLECC) in Orlando, FL is a critical point of contact for the law enforcement community on matters concerning the protection of our nation's borders and support law enforcement operations and investigations.
- →Supporting Customs and Border Protection and other federal agencies enforcement units during land, air and marine pursuit and interceptions.
- →This position starts at a salary of $61,722.00 (GS-09, Step 1) to $97,087.00 (GS-11, Step 10).

- ✓Shift Work/Overtime: This position is part of a 24-hour day, 7-day week, 365- days a year federal law enforcement communications center and is required to work rotating shifts and rotate days off.
- ✓Extensive overtime is also required.
- ✓Weather: The incumbent may also be required to work during extreme weather conditions.
