This vacancy is for a GS-0318-7, Secretary located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, FACILITIES DESIGN and CONSTRUCTION CENTER in NORFOLK, Virginia.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as an Secretary and be responsible for wide variety of administrative and clerical support to the FDCC Commanding Officer and other management personnel and in general support of unit operations.
- →Coordinates office procedures for an organization with subordinate units with a mission that impacts a wide variety of field units and mission accomplishments.
- →Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team.
- →Typical work assignments include: Management of leadership and share meeting space calendars.
- →Preparation and dissemination of routine communications to unit personnel and organizational leadership.
- →Timekeeper for civilian personnel & support routine administrative needs.
- →Manage Travel review and approval.
- →Manage outgoing correspondence to ensure compliance with command policies and procedures.
