About the Role

What You'll Do
- →If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for providing administrative support to the United States Attorney (USA) and First Assistant U.S.
- →Attorney (FAUSA) of the Northern District of Indiana.
- →Typical work assignments will include: Maintains a confidential relationship with the USA and FAUSA Manages and oversees the day-to-day activities of the immediate office of the USA/FAUSA.
- →Exercises control over the USA's calendar for all appointments, meetings, engagements, and conferences.
- →Establishes priorities and arranges, shifts, or cancels appointments and meetings.
- →Screens telephone calls and visitors desiring to speak with the USA/FAUSA, exercising independent judgment and discretion to determine the nature, purpose, and urgency of the matter.
- →Reads, screens, and controls incoming mail and independently deals with matters addressed to the USA that do not require his/her personal attention.
- →Makes travel arrangements for the USA/FAUSA.
- →Produces a variety of written documents utilizing varied and advanced functions in one or more types of office automation software.
- →Ensures documents are in the proper format, and that spelling, punctuation, capitalization, grammar has been verified, and consults with document author to resolve any questionable material.
- →Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
