About the Role
The incumbent serves as a Secretary to the Medical Center Pentad member assigned to direct the activities of clinical services and programs of this tertiary care facility at Oklahoma City VA Health Care System.
What You'll Do
- →***THIS IS NOT A VIRTUAL POSITION, YOU MUST LIVE WITHIN OR BE WILLING TO RELOCATE WITHIN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE OF THE DUTY LOCATION*** Major Duties: Receives, schedules, refers, and contacts members of the staff, agency, and people outside the agency ranging from other government agencies to the public.
- →Processes incoming and outgoing materials such as correspondence, reports, memorandums, and other forms of written communication.
- →Edits letters, composing letters and reports, reviewing correspondence for accuracy and completeness, prepares public presentation outlines, and develops standard or form letters and replies to inquiries.
- →Schedules appointments, coordinates meetings, and/or schedules conferences.
- →Provides general calendar maintenance, clerical services such as maintaining calendars and recording appointments.
- →Arranges for meeting and small conference administrative details or following up on action items with appropriate staff members independently.
- →Obtains and monitors the use of services, supplies, or equipment for the office.
- →Provides general office supply and equipment support services such as obtaining standard office supplies and services or answering questions concerning policies and procedures related to support office services.
- →Performs all duties as assigned.
- →Work Schedule: M-F (8am - 4:30pm) Recruitment & Relocation Incentives: Not authorized Telework: This position may be authorized for telework.
