You will serve as a Scientist in the SPECIAL OPERATIONS FORCES EW BRANCH, EXPEDITIONARY ELECTROMAGNETIC WARFARE DIVISION, RAPID MISSION INTEGRATION & INTEROPERABILITY DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-04 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-12/13
What You'll Do
- →You will support planning, coordination, scheduling, and direction of all ECM and C-UAS testing.
- →You will support PMCP's ECM, CUxS, and EOD testing operations, equipment, and team integration.
- →You will direct test team of personnel assigned at the ATF, providing day to day direction.
- →You will plan, program, and execute ATF test resources and funding.
- →You will develop and publish test results.
- →You will serve as NMF and TMF Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) for specific ECM and C-UAS requirements and threat management processes.
- →You will coordinate, deconflict, and manage ECM and C-UAS test efforts executed by or through independent test organizations.
- →You will coordinate with and sustain support to EOD, Render Safe Electronics (RSE) site, and testing and training facilities/activities, as required.
- →You will serve as PMCP’s lead for Aberdeen Training Facility (ATF) testing operations, equipment accountability, and test/logistical support team integration.
- →You will coordinate software and load set sustainment and testing of fielded ECM capabilities.
- →You will execute other duties as assigned by Expeditionary EMW Division or Program Manager Counter Proliferation.
Requirements
- ✓Basic Education Requirements: Successful completion of a bachelor's or higher degree in operations research.
- ✓OR Successful completion of a bachelor's or higher degree with at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics and at least 3 of the 24 semester hours are in calculus.
- ✓In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
