As Scientific Program Analyst, the employee participates in the organization and execution of scientific and programmatic activities across the Extramural Research Program. The employee will participate in analysis of scientific, programmatic and administrative data to identify trends and accomplishments and make projections about extramural funding.
What You'll Do
- →Gathers and organize narrative and statistical information relevant to programs in sciences using established methods, techniques, and precedents.
- →Apply a full range and sequence of analytical steps appropriate for assigned studies, or portions of studies.
- →Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of program operations in meeting the established goals and objectives.
- →Develop report of recommendations about initiatives and programs for consideration by management, program, grantee, state, regional, and federal officials as appropriate.
- →Provide assistance on program operations to senior program analysts and program staff for effective implementation of office goals and priorities.
- →Review, analyze and evaluate proposed changes in mission, operating procedures and delegations of authority affecting program operations.
- →Create and produce scientific and programmatic reports in narrative, graphic and tabular form.
